Welcome

Welcome to Domestic Violence Training!
This training was created by the Department of Health’s Office of Local Health in partnership with the Vermont Network Against Domestic and Sexual Violence and the AHS Domestic Violence Steering Committee.

The purpose is to give all AHS community partners a baseline understanding of domestic violence. It is designed to develop skills and knowledge that will optimize interactions with the individuals and families who receive services from our Agency partners. This training is supported by AHS Policy 1.03 Response to Domestic Violence.

This training will take approximately 1 ½ - 2 hours to complete.

Please remember to practice good self-care during this training. There is material included that may be upsetting and some participants may be personally affected by the content.
